TPMS Installation & Setup Videos
Step-by-step videos for installing and setting up SAVR (formerly Safety Sam) Bluetooth TPMS sensors with the TPMS Connect app — for cars, 4WDs, caravans, camper trailers and touring setups. Pairing, profiles for towing, airbags and battery swaps. Most videos are under two minutes.
Quick Start: Installing Your TPMS
- Download TPMS Connect (free on the App Store and Google Play) and add your vehicle under Profiles.
- Pair the sensors — One-Click Pairing (scan the QR card in your pack) or Scan Pair (scan the barcode on a sensor).
- Screw each sensor onto its tyre valve by hand until snug, then lock the anti-theft nut against it with the supplied tool.
- Check every wheel is reading, then set your pressure and temperature limits.
- Test with a short drive. No monitor, no wiring — your phone is the display.

Quick setup with the TPMS Connect app
Four easy ways to pair your sensors
QR code, barcode, manual or auto — pick whichever suits you.
Live vs sleeping sensors
Why a reading goes quiet when you're parked, and when it wakes up.
Different pressures for different vehicles
Set 35 psi on the car and 70 on the van, and the app remembers both.
Going further
Towing a trailer? This has you covered
Set your tow vehicle and caravan up as separate profiles, then make both active when you hitch up.
Why you need TPMS on your airbags
Airbags use the same valves as your tyres, so SAVR can watch them too.
Replacing your sensor batteries
Don't buy new sensors — it's a two-minute swap with a CR1632 coin cell.

- Install sensors before starting long trips.
- Confirm correct tyre pressures manually before fitting.
- Hand-tight is enough — never use a tool on the sensor itself, only on the anti-theft nut.
- Assign sensors logically (front to rear, then caravan) and check each one reads against the right wheel in the app.
- A brief puff of air while fitting is normal; if it keeps leaking, remove the sensor and check the valve core.
- Test drive before highway travel.
