SAVR live tyre pressure and temperature shown on an Apple CarPlay screen in a 4WD SAVR live tyre pressure and temperature for every tyre shown on an Android Auto screen

It talks. That is the whole point.

“Warning. Caravan rear left. Tyre pressure is too low.”

Every other system asks you to look at a screen. SAVR speaks through your vehicle speakers, so you hear which wheel needs attention without taking your eyes off the road. Alerts play while you are using Bluetooth audio, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, whatever app is on screen at the time. And on Apple CarPlay or Android Auto you can bring every tyre up on your car's own display whenever you want a look.

01

No extra screen

Your phone is the monitor, and with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto so is the screen already in your car. Nothing to mount on the dash, nothing to wire into power, nothing extra to charge or replace.

02

No booster. Ever.

Sensors transmit up to 15 metres straight to your phone, tested on caravans up to 25 ft. Every pack size works without a relay or repeater.

03

Fit it yourself

External sensors screw onto the valve stem in about five minutes, using only the spanner in the box. No mechanic, no tyre shop.

Built for the road ahead

Why it matters when you are towing.

Tyre problems usually start quietly. A slow leak, a rising temperature or an unexpected pressure change is hard to feel from the driver's seat, and harder again with a caravan or trailer behind you.

Weight, heat, speed and distance all put extra stress on towing tyres. SAVR tracks the change as you drive and tells you when a reading moves outside the limits you set, so a developing problem becomes a planned roadside stop instead of a damaged tyre, rim or wheel arch. There is more in our guide to preventing caravan tyre blowouts.

  • Pressure and temperature on every monitored wheel
  • Your own high and low pressure limits
  • Separate profiles for the car and the van
  • Add 2 or 4 sensor packs as your setup grows

Live data. Clear alerts.

Verified review, 8 sensor pack

Questions, answered.

What is a Bluetooth tyre pressure monitoring system?

A Bluetooth TPMS uses sensors fitted to your tyre valves to send pressure and temperature readings straight to an app on your phone. SAVR shows those readings in the TPMS Connect app and warns you by voice when a tyre moves outside the limits you set. There is a full explainer in the complete guide to tyre pressure monitoring systems.

Does SAVR work with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?

Yes, both. TPMS Connect is a native Apple CarPlay and Android Auto app. Connect your phone (wired or wireless), tap the SAVR icon on your car's screen and every tyre appears with live pressure and temperature, including your caravan or trailer. Voice alerts play through the stereo no matter which app is open. No hub, no subscription, and it works with sensors you already own. See CarPlay in action or see Android Auto in action.

Which sensor pack should I buy?

Count the tyres you want monitored, spares included, and match that number. Packs come in 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 sensors. The 8 sensor pack is the most popular because it covers a tow vehicle and a tandem-axle van together. The larger packs suit fleet vehicles and rigs towing multiple trailers.

Will SAVR fit my vehicle or caravan?

SAVR sensors screw onto standard Schrader tyre valve stems, which is what the vast majority of cars, 4WDs, caravans and trailers in Australia use. If your vehicle has an unusual valve design or limited clearance, check the compatibility guide first.

Do I need a booster or repeater?

No. SAVR connects directly to your phone and needs no booster, relay or repeater on any pack size. Sensors transmit up to 15 metres and have been tested on caravans up to approximately 25 feet. There is no extra box to mount, wire, charge or power.

Does the app work while my phone is locked?

Yes. Once the app is open and the phone permissions are enabled, SAVR keeps monitoring in the background while your phone is locked. You do not need to sit there watching it.

Can I monitor my tow vehicle and caravan at the same time?

Yes. The 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 sensor packs cover combinations of tow vehicles, caravans, trailers and spare wheels. You can set separate profiles and pressure ranges for each setup, since a van rarely runs the same pressures as the car pulling it.

How long do the sensor batteries last?

Each sensor uses a replaceable CR1632 battery, typically lasting 12 to 24 months depending on use, temperature and battery quality. They are sold at automotive stores, battery retailers and most supermarkets, and the app warns you before one goes flat.

Do I need a mechanic to install it?

No. The external sensors screw onto the valve stem and are fitted yourself, usually in about five minutes, using only the spanner in the box. No mechanic and no tyre shop.

Can the sensors be stolen?

Every pack includes anti-theft lock nuts and a fitting tool. Once locked on, the sensors cannot simply be unscrewed by hand at a campsite or a car park.

What is the difference between external and internal TPMS sensors?

External sensors screw onto the tyre valve and can be fitted, moved and replaced without removing the tyre. Internal sensors sit inside the wheel and normally need a tyre shop to install and service. There is a full comparison in our external versus internal TPMS guide.

What should I do if a sensor stops reading?

Most reading issues come down to a battery, an app permission or a pairing setting, and all three are quick fixes. Follow the TPMS troubleshooting guide, or email support@savr.me and you will get a real answer.

Works well and easy to setup. Let me know when one of my new airbags sprung a leak before it became a real problem.

Wow, that's exactly what it's there for. So glad it caught the airbag leak early! I really appreciate your support, and huge thanks for your review.

Device did not function correctly, I attempted to call the service line but it’s just an AI BOT, which is all but useless, although it did assure me that I would get a follow up phone call from a technician which I have not received.
Finally one of my emails was responded to asking for a range of screen shots to assist with identifying the problem which I promptly provided and then crickets absolutely nothing!
3 out of 4 sensors work great - pity I bought a four set with the expectation that all 4 would work or there would be some after sales support to assist.

Hi Paul, I'm really sorry. You did everything right sending those screenshots, and we dropped the ball on the follow-up. Please reach out to support@savr.me and we'll get your fourth sensor sorted, with a replacement if needed. I really appreciate your patience.

Fitted these to our Toyota LC79 running Bridgestone A/S 661. Bluetooth connections worked well with no dropouts, all devices connected instantly via the QR link and wake-up when required. We are currently using these while crossing Great Central rd, Mereenie loop and outback way back to Qld with heavy corrugations and these stay in place. We use the lock nut with tool provided. These are particularly handy to reduce tyre pressure, just loosen and you can see the reduction in real time, without need for a gauge. Also a significant advantage we have found is the showing us the psi increase when driving at speed and road conditions, From cold, our rear tyres increase about 12 psi, whilst our front increase about 6psi and run about 2-4 degrees cooler than rear. Battery Life after 7 days solid use still showing 100%.

What a review! Love hearing they're holding up on the Great Central Road and Mereenie Loop corrugations, and that the live readings are helping when you air down. Safe travels home. I really appreciate your support, and huge thanks for such a detailed review.

We wrecked a tyre on our PHEV Outlander (no spare) due to low pressure - took a day to sort out a flat bed and new tyre. Bought a TPMS and had a low pressure warning, we were able to inflate it and get to a service centre where are repair could be carried out. Replacement tyre cost us $400 the repair only $35!! The system installed in 10 minutes and the alert came on while we were approaching the car.

Hi John, this is exactly why I do this. A $35 repair instead of a $400 tyre and a flatbed. Really appreciate you sharing the story and backing SAVR. Safe travels.

Replacment sensors working fine thanks again

Hi Scott, I'm glad to hear the replacement sensors are working well! Thanks for sharing your feedback.

Very happy with these. Very easy to sync with pressures displayed on your phone. And after you adjust the pressure settings to what you use on you vehicle and van, the audible warning gives you sufficient time to save that tyre from destruction. And it's on you phone, not some fiddly little screen velcroed to your dash.

Hi Mark,
Love it! Really appreciate your support and feedback. Yes, purposely moved away from the 1980's Casio calculator stuck to your dash and into the modern age.

So easy to get these working on both the Lancruiser and Jayco Adventurer. We are doing a 2000k loop next week and look forward to knowing how the rubber is going as we trek along

Really appreciate your feedback and review. But more importantly, have a great trip!

Huge thanks for your support.

Great product, no booster required, set up on the vehicle and van in about 15 minutes, including putting the sensors on all 8 wheels.
Much better and easier than the other rubbish I paid more for which are currently landfill ( minus batteries)
Highly recommended.

Thanks so much Rodney. I really appreciate your support and taking the time to leave this review. Making TPMS simpler was exactly why I started Safety Sam, so hearing that you had all 8 sensors set up on the vehicle and van in about 15 minutes is fantastic. Thanks again mate, it genuinely means a lot to me.

Fantastic business to deal with, super quick delivery. Extremely happy. Friendly over the phone advice available if required. I purchased 10 sensors, for the car and rear suspension airbag valves and the caravan.
Originally had Oricom sensors, which never worked properly and threw them in the bin, out of pure frustration. These ones are so easy to set up and they actually work. Great product.

Hi Peter,
Love this. I'm always available if you ever need a hand. The new app is about to be released which has an airbag function built in. It will be perfect for your setup.

A massive thanks for your support!

Great product love the fact that the monitor is the phone, its great to hear your upgrading the app as that is the only minor issue needs to be brighter and larger clearer readings other than that drove 500klm last couple of days and all readings and temps seem great tyres parked in the sun where hotter than the shaddy side easy way to tell if functioning, well done Sam great product. Look forward to the App upgrade regards Mal

Hi Mal,
I really appreciate this feedback! The app is looking amazing! I've been testing the last few days and about 100 customers will be testing it towards the end of this week. It is such a great experience.

Huge thanks for your support. I really appreciate it.

Nice boat Tim! And thanks for showing your support in Safety Sam. Love that even old guys can still rule! Haha!

Sam was great. I ordered the 2 pack instead of the 4 pack. I spoke to Sam and explained the situation and he fixed my mistake very willingly and sent the right ones the same day. We received them within 3 days as he knew we were leaving next week for our holiday. He was so helpful, and accommodating even though I made tge mistake. Hubby put them on the caravan this afternoon and we leave in 5 days. Hubby had no problem setting up the app on his phone for monitoring them.

Thanks Julie for your review! See! Even the best make mistakes...

Hope you have safe and fun travels and thank you for showing your support in Safety Sam.

Great product & performing exactly as promised! I love how there’s no need for a booster & I can monitor on my phone rather than mounting something on the dash. I would love to see something developed specific for monitoring airbags. We’ve lost one in the past & would be good to know when it actually happens rather than when you get to camp ☺️

Hi Steve, thank you for the fantastic review! We're glad the TPMS is meeting your expectations. Your idea for airbag monitoring is interesting and this is something that can be handled within the current app. Our new app will be able to manage this even better! I really appreciate your support.

Great product, great support, doing exactly as described. Very fast dispatch and postage arrived really quick. I had a problem with not being able to see the temperatures but after contacting support Sam called me and we sorted the problem out straight away( I had the display on my phone to high). I've had other brand tpms systems with the clunky display box and to just to be able to see it on your phone is a fantastic idea. Well done Sam all the best!

David,
what great feedback! Thank you very much. And glad we got that simple problem sorted of the font size. A huge thanks for your support. It means a lot to me.
