SAVR TPMS now works with Apple CarPlay: your tyres, live on your dash - SAVR | Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

Your tyres. On CarPlay. As of September 2026, the SAVR TPMS Connect app works with Apple CarPlay. Plug in your iPhone (or connect wirelessly) and every tyre on your car, caravan or trailer shows on your car's screen, with pressure and temperature live and a voice alert through the stereo the moment something drops.

What CarPlay changes for tyre pressure monitoring

Most tyre pressure monitoring systems come with a small plastic display you stick on the dash or plug into a cigarette lighter. It clutters the cab, it's hard to read in sunlight, and it's one more screen to look at.

SAVR was designed from day one to have no extra screen. Your phone is the display. CarPlay takes that one step further: the readings now sit on the big screen already built into your car, right next to your maps and music.

  • Every tyre at a glance. Front left, front right, rear left, rear right, and every tyre on the van or trailer behind you, in one list.
  • Pressure and temperature, live. Each row shows current psi and tyre temperature, updated as you drive.
  • Green means good. Each tyre has a status dot. If a tyre drops out of range, the row changes colour so you can see the problem without reading numbers.
  • Voice alerts through your car speakers. A low pressure or high temperature alert is spoken through the stereo, so you hear it even if your eyes are on the road.

How it works

  1. Fit the sensors. SAVR sensors screw onto your valve stems in a few minutes. No tools beyond the fixing tool in the box, and anti-theft nuts are included.
  2. Pair in the TPMS Connect app. Download TPMS Connect from the App Store, choose your setup (car, tow vehicle and trailer, trailer only, motorhome, truck or motorcycle) and follow the prompts.
  3. Connect your phone to CarPlay. Plug in or connect wirelessly as you normally would. The SAVR icon appears on your CarPlay home screen.
  4. Drive. Tap the SAVR icon and your tyres are on the dash. Alerts play through the stereo automatically, even if you're in Maps or Spotify at the time.

There's no subscription, no hub and no extra hardware. If your car has CarPlay and you have an iPhone, you're set.

Built for towing

CarPlay makes the biggest difference when you're towing. A caravan or trailer tyre going down is the one you're least likely to feel through the wheel, and the one most likely to end in a blowout on the highway.

SAVR sensors have a range of up to 15 metres, so they reach tandem and triple axle vans without a repeater. Set up a tow vehicle and trailer profile in the app and CarPlay shows the lot in a single list: your ute up top, your van underneath.

Pick the pack that matches your setup:

  • 4-Sensor Pack for a car, ute or 4WD on its own
  • 6-Sensor Pack for a vehicle plus a single axle trailer or camper
  • 8-Sensor Pack for a vehicle plus a tandem axle caravan (our most popular)
  • 10, 12 and 16-Sensor Packs for triple axle vans, dual-cab duallies, fleets and multiple trailers

All packs use the same sensors and the same app, so you can start with four and add more later.

Why it matters

Underinflated tyres run hotter, wear faster and cost you fuel. Left long enough, they fail. A blowout while towing can mean a written-off van, damage to your vehicle and a very long day on the side of the road. Even without a failure, running low costs most drivers hundreds of dollars a year in extra fuel and tyre wear.

A TPMS turns a slow leak from a surprise into a heads-up. CarPlay puts that heads-up where you're already looking.

What you need

  • An iPhone with the SAVR TPMS Connect app (free on the App Store)
  • A vehicle or head unit with Apple CarPlay (wired or wireless)
  • SAVR sensors on your tyres

Android user? TPMS Connect works with Android Auto too, with the same live readings on your car's screen and voice alerts through the stereo. See how SAVR works with Android Auto.

Frequently asked questions

Does SAVR TPMS work with Apple CarPlay?

Yes. SAVR's TPMS Connect app is a native Apple CarPlay app, approved by Apple in September 2026. Connect your iPhone to CarPlay and tap the SAVR icon to see live pressure and temperature for every tyre.

Do I need a separate display or hub?

No. SAVR sensors talk directly to your phone over Bluetooth. Your phone, and now your car's CarPlay screen, is the display.

Does it work while I'm using Maps or music?

Yes. Voice alerts play through the stereo no matter which CarPlay app is on screen.

Does it work with a caravan or trailer?

Yes. Set up a tow vehicle and trailer profile in the app and every tyre appears in the one CarPlay list. Sensor range is up to 15 metres.

Is there a subscription?

No. The app and CarPlay support are included with your sensors.

Do I need to replace my existing SAVR sensors?

No. If you already own SAVR sensors, update the TPMS Connect app and CarPlay will work with the sensors you have.

What about Android Auto?

SAVR works with Android Auto too. TPMS Connect is a native Android Auto app, so every tyre shows on your car's screen with live pressure and temperature, and voice alerts play through the stereo. The app is free on Google Play. See how it works on Android Auto.
